It is best to feed the peacock twice a day, at the first meal you can give the bird all the food, but in the evening it is better to give dry food a choice. The main product in the peacock’s diet should be cereals, which can be wheat, oats, and cereals. In addition, products such as meat should be included in the papal menu. Make sure you have a small amount of table salt in your pet’s feed and the bird should also have a source of one element like calcium in constant access. At home, you can arrange small containers of chalk, lime, wood ash, or fine gravel.

Do not forget to monitor the quality of food offered to the peacock; this bird of paradise should in no case be fed with mold, rot, contaminated, or even poorly dried grains. The mixed feed should have a maximum shelf life of two days if stored in a refrigerator.
